PokerStars Rewards progress bar

What is the progress bar?

The progress bar is a core feature of PokerStars Rewards.

It shows your progress toward unlocking your current Chest.

How does the progress bar work?

You fill the progress bar by earning reward points through real money poker play.

  • Reward points are earned by generating rake and tournament fees
  • The number of points required depends on your current Chest level
  • Higher levels require more points but offer more valuable rewards

What happens when I complete a progress bar?

When you complete a progress bar:

  • You unlock a Chest
  • A new progress bar starts automatically

Your next progress bar level is based on your recent Chest activity.

The value of the Chest depends on your current level.
See Chests & Rewards

How do I check my progress bar?

To view your progress:

  1. Log in to your PokerStars account
  2. Go to Promotions & Rewards ('P & R')
  3. Open the PokerStars Rewards widget

Can I have more than one progress bar at a time?

No. You can only have one active progress bar at a time.

Progress bar time limits

How long do I have to complete a progress bar?

You have 28 days to complete a progress bar.

What happens if I do not finish the progress bar?

If you do not earn any Chests within 28 days:

  • Your progress resets
  • You may move down a Chest level
  • Your next progress bar becomes easier but less rewarding

What are the rules for the Blue level?

The Blue level has different rules:

  • It resets only after 3 months without earning a Chest
  • It does not downgrade further (as it is the lowest level)

Chest levels and progression

How do I level up?

You level up by earning 5 Chests within a 28-day rolling period.

Levels:

Blue → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Diamond → Black

What happens if I do not level up?

  • Earn 1–4 Chests → you stay on the same level
  • Earn 0 Chests → you move down one level

(Blue level follows different rules, as explained above.)

What does a 28-day rolling period mean?

Only Chests earned in the last 28 days count toward your level.

As time passes:

  • Older Chests drop out of the count
  • Only recent activity is considered

Can I switch to a lower progress bar?

Yes, through the Exchange Feature (if available).

  • You can swap your current progress for a lower-level Chest
  • Your progress resets immediately
  • Your next target becomes easier to reach

The feature appears in PokerStars Rewards when available and cannot be requested manually.

Where can I check my PokerStars Rewards status?

Go to:

Promotions & Rewards ('P & R') → PokerStars Rewards

You can view:

  • Your progress bar
  • Your current Chest level
  • Chests required to upgrade
  • Exchange option (if available)
