Tournament deals

What is a tournament deal (chop)?

A “chop” is when players at the final table agree to split the remaining prize money.

 

How do I start discussing a deal?

All players must opt in to begin a deal discussion.

Desktop:

1. Open the chat box.
2. Go to the 'Info' tab.
3. Tick 'Discuss a deal'.

Mobile:

1. Select the arrow icon at the bottom left of the table.
2. Tick 'Discuss a deal'.

You don’t need to sit out of the tournament.

You can untick the option at any time if you change your mind.

 

What happens when all players agree to discuss a deal?

Once all players select 'Discuss a deal':

• The tournament is paused.
• The deal tool window opens.
• The available deal options are displayed.

 

What types of deals are available?

You can choose between two deal types.

• ICM (Independent Chip Model):
  Assigns a monetary value based on the chip stacks, the prize pool and the payout structure.
• Equal split:
  Divides the remaining prize money equally between the players.

 

How is a deal agreed?

All players must agree on the same deal type.

You can see how many players selected each option.Select 'Decline' if you do not want to proceed.

Once everyone agrees:

1. A confirmation message appears.
2. The tournament resumes.

 

What happens after a deal is made?

The tournament continues even after a deal is agreed, until a winner is determined. After each elimination, players will receive the agreed prize and a confirmation email.
