What are Fifty50 tournaments?

Fifty50 tournaments use a 50/50 payout system.

• The tournament ends when half of the players are eliminated
• The remaining players receive prize money

 

How does the payout work in Fifty50 tournaments?

The prize pool is split into two parts:

• 50% is divided equally among all remaining players
• 50% is distributed based on chip count

Players with more chips receive a larger share of the second portion.

 

Example of a Fifty50 payout

Tournament setup

• Players: 10
• Buy-in: 10
• Total prize pool: 100
• Players remaining: 5

Step 1: Equal share

Half of the prize pool (50) is split equally:

• Each player receives 10

 

Step 2: Chip-based share

The remaining 50 is distributed based on chip count:

• 50% of chips → +25 (total payout: 35)
• 10% of chips → +5 (total payout: 15)
