What is the waiver agreement for PokerStars live events?

The live events waiver is part of the PokerStars LIVE Terms & Conditions.

You agree to the waiver when you create a PSLive account and accept the terms.

What do I agree to when I accept the waiver?

By accepting the waiver, you agree that:

• PokerStars may film or record you if you play at a featured table.
• Your image or gameplay may appear in media content, such as broadcasts or promotional videos.
• You waive your rights to the use of video clips that include your participation in the event.

This allows PokerStars to produce live event coverage and media content.

 

When do I sign the waiver?

You accept the waiver when you create your PSLive account and agree to the PokerStars LIVE Terms & Conditions.

You do not need to sign a separate waiver form for most PokerStars live events.

 

What if I do not have a PSLive account?

You must have a PSLive account to register for most major PokerStars live events.

If you do not have an account, you cannot join events that use the PSLive system for registration and tournament management.

 

How do I open a PSLive account?

You can create an account in two ways:

Using the PokerStars LIVE app

• Download the app from your device’s app store
• Follow the steps to create and verify your PSLive account

At a live event venue

• Visit the sign-up desk
• Provide a valid government-issued photo ID to verify your PSLive account

 

When do I sign the waiver for events that do not use the PSLive system?

Some local PokerStars-branded live events may not use the PSLive registration system.

In these cases, you must sign the waiver form at the table before play begins.

Event staff will provide the waiver when you take your seat.
