Home / News / The EPT is going online and it’s back next month

With the European Poker Tour in temporary storage, we’re launching the next best thing this month. The EPT Online.

It will use the same unique festival format, the same action-filled schedule, and the same massive prize pools.

You could say the only difference (apart form the obvious one) is the playing field will be open to everyone, not just those travelling to places like Barcelona, Monaco or Prague.

What hasn’t changed though is the opportunity to become the next champion on the world’s most prestigious poker tour.

BE A PART OF EUROPEAN POKER TOUR HISTORY

The EPT Online festival starts this month, running from 8 to 18 November on PokerStars.com.

There are tons of highlights to talk about, but here are some of the big ones.

  • A full schedule of 20 tournaments, with $20 million guaranteed
  • Buy-ins from $215 to $25,000
  • Win real EPT Trophies
  • Cards up coverage of key events
  • Win tickets now with the $3 million Ticket Machine Promo
  • A host of other promotions still to come.

PLUS… an entire replica schedule of EPT events at 1/100th the original buy-in.

Read on to find out more…

A tournament schedule to mimic a real EPT festival and real trophies

The 20tournament schedule is designed to mimic exactly what you would expect at a live EPT festival.

So, as well as trophies for the winners, you can expect some familiar flagship events.

A first look shows some key highlights

First up the $1.5 m guaranteed Arena Championship on the opening day of the festival.

Then on Tuesday 10 November the first six-figure high roller, with the $10K 8-Max Event.

That’s followed two days later by the $25K Super High Roller, and the $10K 6-Max High roller a day later.

But the biggest event of them all is the $5K Main Event on Sunday 15 November, with a whopping $5 million guaranteed.

At which point you may be thinking that the $5,000 price tag will keep you on the side lines?

Not so fast…

Thousands of packages to be given away for free

As part of the festival we’ll be giving way thousands of tickets for FREE, granting you entry into one of the biggest online events of the year.

You can also qualify for events for FREE in daily freebuy feeder tournaments.

We’ll be announcing details of that in the coming days. So keep an eye out for that.

But even if you don’t reach the bigger events in the EPT Online festival, there is another great way to take part.

The Mini-EPT: Same schedule at 1/100th the buy-in

Running directly alongside the EPT Online will be the Mini-EPT.

That means the exact same schedule, same big prize pools, but for a fraction of the buy-in.

One one-hundredths to be exact.

For instance, Event #1 of the EPT Online festival costs $1050 to play. The Mini-EPT equivalent costs just $11.

And there’s still $150,000 prize money guaranteed.

Check out the full Mini-EPT schedule below and start making plans.

Not just for dot com

It features a buy-in of €250 and a guaranteed prize pool of €200,000*.
