Important News: Server restart on Tuesday 30 July 2024
News of an upcoming server restart
At PokerStars we are always striving to enhance players’ experience; this can be new features, better rewards and promotions, exclusive access to live events and also making improvements to the usability and reliability of our platforms.
When making changes to our systems a restart is the best way to implement changes with minimal impact to play. Normally these restarts last a few hours but at the end of this month we have a big one. Given that this update will be longer than normal, we’re eager for players to get advance warning of this helping to limit disruption to play.
The start time for the update is: 30July 5:00 AM EDT | 9:00 UTC. We expect normal service will resume no more than 24 hours later on Wednesday 31 July 2024.

“We’re taking extra time during this release to perform some network upgrades. These will improve stability, availability, and security for our players. They will also reduce any future planned downtime ensuring a better playing experience moving forward.”

To make up for the downtime and to say thank you for your patience during this time we’ll be hosting two freerolls for players on the .Com platform.
Both will take place on Wednesday 31 July, the day after the update, each awarding $10,000 worth of Sunday Million tickets.
The first will start at 12:08 ET.
The second starts at 18:08ET.
