The European Poker Tour (EPT) is making a welcome return to Malta for the first time since 2016, taking place at Casino Malta from October 1-12, 2025.

Poker players and guests have a lot to look forward to, from the notorious nightlife, unique beaches and UNESCO World Heritage sites, to special activities organised by PokerStars.

This year’s schedule of off-the-felt activities includes a football tournament, bowling, darts and laser tag nights, plus parties with complimentary food and drinks.

Take a look through the full EPT Malta activities schedule below.

By now, you’ll have heard that qualifying to a PokerStars Open Main Event comes with plenty of other perks, particularly at European Poker Tour (EPT) stops.

On October 2, for example, there’s an exclusive meet-up party at the Paranga Beach Club for all PokerStars Open Malta main event qualifiers, where you can celebrate with your fellow qualifiers and silver/gold pass winners and mingle with PokerStars Ambassadors. It gets better: there’s also a special giveaway with a €2,300/$2,500 Silver Pass, and other prizes up for grabs. Combine that with a DJ and complimentary food and drinks, and it makes for an unmissable evening.

Padel Party

October 4 – Half Day (09:30-15:30)

PokerStars’ Padel parties are becoming as synonymous with the EPT as the poker itself. OK—maybe not quite—but trust us, these padel tournaments are always a ton of fun and might be your best chance to beat a PokerStars Ambassador! Not familiar with padel? It’s basically tennis but played on a smaller, enclosed court, making it great for racket sport beginners. There are Mini Spade trophies for the winners, but it’s more about having fun than competing. Transport to and from the venue is provided, as well as snacks and drinks, but sign up early as places get snapped up fast.

Fancy swapping split pots for 7-10 splits? Head to EDEN, just a one-minute walk from Casino Malta, for the PokerStars Bowling Night. It promises to be a fun evening on the lanes, and everyone is welcome with no sign-up required. Just show up, enjoy some complimentary drinks and snacks, compete and mingle with PokerStars Ambassadors, and avoid the gutter!
