Ontario Platinum Series: Full schedule revealed with $1M in prizes guaranteed
A new poker series exclusively for players in Ontario, Canada is coming to PokerStars this month, with 90 events and $1 million guaranteed in prizes.
The Ontario Platinum Series begins this Sunday and runs from July 10 to July 18, marking the launch of the new PokerStars CAON platform which went live on June 28.
With buy-ins ranging from $5 all the way up to $1,000, there’s something for every bankroll. The Main Event takes place on Sunday, July 17 and is a $300 buy-in progressive knockout with $200K guaranteed. There’s also a Mini Main Event running alongside it: a $50 buy-in PKO with $40K guaranteed.

For Ontario players, the great news is that this series is just the start.
Keep your eyes peeled this summer as there are plenty of epic events and experiences in the works, including a fantastic rewards programme which will give players double rewards throughout July and August.
There will also be brand new flagship events, known as the New Sunday Majors, which will be special Sunday tournaments with $100K guaranteed in the prize pool.
