Benj “Spraggy” Spragg is heading to the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) in Barcelona in August — and he’s going there to play. Everyone’s favourite Twitch streaming sensation, from Gloucestershire in the UK, was rewarded with a Platinum Pass for completing 12 tasks in 12 days at the end of 2019, a challenge known as the “12 Days of Spraggmas”.

Before taking up streaming full time, Spraggy was a successful online pro, who also made a couple of deep runs on the UKIPT. It was on that tour that he earned his biggest live score to date, €30,210 in Galway in 2013. He also played and cashed the first PSPC in the Bahamas in January 2019 and will, at the very least, turn his tournament into Barcelona into some fine content for the hordes of fans who tune in to his Twitch stream.
