3 Popular Roulette Strategies
Three of the most well-known strategies in roulette include the Martingale system, the Fibonacci system, and the D’Alembert system.
Although these strategies are nice to know about, we do not recommend that players actively use them as we believe playing should be just for fun, rather than with the purposes of gaining excessive economic resources. In addition, the chance of these strategies succeeding in an online environment are very low, as different factors such as max bet need to be taken in consideration.
Martingale
Starting with the Martingale, a player makes use of this approach when they decide to double their even money bet after each loss. For example, a victorious bet of 1 unit means the next wager will be of 1 unit. If the player loses, the bet is doubled to 2 units rather than 1, then 4 units if another loss is incurred. A deep and flexible bankroll is required to apply the Martingale system.
Fibonacci
Next up is the Fibonacci, named after the number sequence (1-1 – 1 – 2 – 3 – 5 – 8 – 13 – 21 – 34 – 55 – 89 – 144 – 233 – 377 – 610)created by famous 12th century mathematician, Leonardo de Pisa. Here, each number is the sum of the two numbers that appear before it. In summary, the strategy relies on the player placing even money bets through the sequence.
D’Alembert
Last but not least, the D’Alembert is a system in which a player makes even money bets like the Martingale but does not focus on doubling the wager after a loss. Instead, players add an additional one unit after every loss and decrease their wager by one following a win. This means that if a stake begins at 6 units and loses, the next will be 7 units, after that 8 units in case of another losing bet, and so on and so forth.
