Craig “onscreen” Shannon shares journey from casual gamer to pro Twitch streamer on Poker In The Ears
Joe is back, for Episode 206 of Poker In The Ears, and sounding better than ever. He describes, in graphic detail, and much to James’ horror, the surgical procedure on his vocal chords. Just a heads-up. It’s pretty intense stuff.
After a TV and movie catch-up (08:30), James recaps two Sunday Million final tables and drops a teaser about the upcoming PS Retro (22:48) – which will be live every Thursday, starting 4th March at 15:00 GMT on Twitch and YouTube.
Then, it’s time to welcome this week’s special guest to the show (30:22). Twitch streamer Craig “onscreen” Shannon takes us through his journey from gamer, to Counter-Strike pro, to content creator and occasional poker player. Craig has picked up decent poker results both live and online, and has recently started playing and streaming PokerStars VR.
Professional poker player Bert “girafganger7” Stevens joins the show as this week’s Superfan (58:53), and hopes to beat Joe in a ridiculously difficult quiz about The Godfather Part I and II.
