Did you see the hand at EPT Prague where the guy mucked a winning full house? How about aces getting cracked horribly by 6-4? Or the savage bluff on the turn that got there for piles on the river?

Here’s the good news if you missed all of that, but now want to see what it’s all about. PokerStars Ambassador Ben “Spraggy” Spragg’s EPT Watchalong is back for EPT Prague, and that includes a daily highlights package, where he takes a look back at the main moments of the day.

“I decided to do this to hopefully bring even more fun to the EPT,” Spraggy told PokerStars Blog as he explained the thinking behind his new venture. “I always enjoy watching the streams and I love hanging out and talking poker with the community, so thought it would be fun to watch along together and enjoy all the action.”

Spraggy’s stream, which he debuted for EPT Malta in October, certainly hits the brief.

PASSING THE NERVOUS HOURS

At the time of the first watchalong, Spraggy and wife Marle were awaiting the imminent arrival of their first child, keeping both prospective parents at home, far removed from the EPT.

But thoughts were still with the poker, and the stream allowed Spraggy to stay engaged with the community he has built up over the years, while also passing the nervous hours before a new arrival. Spraggy is very well connected, of course, so also hosted special guests to analyse the action.

It’s the same again here in Prague. And the highlights package is a real bonus, filling the time between live action and combining spontaneous live commentary with later analysis.

The folding of the full house on Day 3 of the EPT was a doozy, and it’s tremendous to watch it play out in the company of not just Ben Spragg but Marle too. Marle made the EPT Prague final table a couple of years ago and knows all about the pressures and thrills of a deep run in this venue.

A STUNNING HAND

But both were confounded by the hand in which Chady Ojeil’s K♣ 10♣ went up against Diogo Vieira’s A♥ Q♦ . With the board showing 8â™  10â™  8♥ 8♦ 10♦ , Viera moved all in.

Ojeil had the covering stack and the second nuts, beaten only by quads. But he didn’t call immediately.

“I don’t know what Ojeil is waiting for,” Spragg (Ben) said.

“He’s worried about quads perhaps?” Spragg (Marle) reasoned.

Then, after Ojeil tossed his cards away, consternation spread across the Spragg household.

“I’m so confused, did he misread his hand?” Marle asked.

“Is he thinking that he loses to aces and kings?” Ben suggested.

Marle then did what all streamers do best: she put the question to the chat, inviting the kind of interactivity that marks out the most compelling poker content.

“Man, what a disaster,” Spraggy concluded in summary, before moving on to the next one.

The EPT action continues apace, and viewers are spoiled for choice for where to watch it. James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton continue to anchor the flawless and award winning coverage on the main PokerStars YouTube and Twitch channels, with commentary also available in French and Portuguese.

Meanwhile, Spraggy continues to invite you to watch along with him and his special guests. The action is hotting up, so don’t miss it.
