It’s official–the return of EPT Paris has been a resounding success. Thousands flocked to the Le Palais des Congrès in the heart of the city this week, not just for the Main Event, but for a jam-packed poker schedule loaded with enticing events.
We already brought you one side-event round-up, in which Dan Dvoress, Juan Pardo and Boris Angelov were among the early winners.
But while we’ve been enjoying the Main Event live streams, who else has been taking down titles in Paris?
ASTEDT’S PARIS PERFORMANCE
When he wasn’t catching up with old friends, Niklas Astedt was busy navigating his way through an elite field.
Niklas Astedt, the GOAT?
The €50,000 Super High Roller 2nd Chance received 35 entries (including seven re-entries), creating a prize pool of €1.64 million. No joke, this field featured many of the best players in the world, and Astedt (“Lena900” on PokerStars) is undoubtedly one of them.
The Swede–widely considered one of, if not the greatest online tournament player of all time–defeated Mikalai Vaskaboinikau heads-up to bank €625,600, leaving the Belarusian to settle for €403,400.
Astedt has performed consistently well in Paris across the three EPT festivals, including a 12th-place finish in the Main Event when the stop debuted in 2023. Take a look through his big results:

LAGODICH TOPS MYSTERY BOUNTY
Some love it, others think it’s silly (until they pull a big bounty, then they love it, too).
The Mystery Bounty tournament format continues to bring in big numbers on the EPT and beyond, and the €3,250 Mystery Bounty in Paris was a big one.
A total of 782 entries were recorded, creating a regular prize pool of €1,470,160, plus €782,000 reserved for bounty prizes. Frank Lagodich from the USA finished on top and collected €304,360, including €36,000 in bounties earned along the way.
Mystery Bounty winner Frank Lagodich
The biggest bounty haul of all went to the UK’s Mitchell Johnson. He may have only finished the tournament in 49th place, but he collected €64,000 in mystery bounty prizes.
