Check this out!

The top two winners of last weekend’s $1,050 Sunday Warm-up both gained entry to the tournament via satellite.

It’s always exciting to gain entry to a major event for cheap, but to go on to hit the final tables, or win the tournament outright, makes for a moment to savoir.

Argentinian reg ‘sonmonedas’ came first in HRC Warm-up. They earned $32,861 for their conquest, all from a $109 satellite.

Also no stranger to high roller events, ‘T-Macha’ earned $25,426 for second place. They qualified via a $55 satellite, scoring an impressive ROI of 461%.

Far from a fluky satellite bink, both players had to battle through an elite field of pros to earn their place at the top and claim status as one of the weekend’s most interesting highlights.

Top ranked players like ‘ImDaNuts’, ‘C.Darwin2’ and Winter Series Main Event winner Ole ‘wizowizo’ Schemion all narrowly missed out on the final table.

That still left plenty of stern competition vying for first place, including multi-time Sunday Million champion ‘twirlpro’, COOP winners ‘3DTemujin’, ‘simon1471’ and ‘SuchADegen’, as well as Peter ‘Belabacsi’ Trapley, one of the most successful tournament players in the world.
