PokerStars is back in Belgium for the next event on the PokerStars Open calendar. That means Namur, on the banks of the Meuse river which hosts the 12 day festival. Below you’ll find the daily headlines, information about the event itself, and more.

  • After five days of competition, Frenchman Jean-Vincent Lehut became champion of the €1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event taking home €238,000.
  • In a record-breaking field of 1,572 entries (prize pool €1,493,400), Lehut defeated Jozef Cibicek heads up, and Jason Barton who finished third.

PokerStars TV Cards-Up coverage from PokerStars Open Namur

PokerStars France will be broadcasting two tournament days from Namur. the first on June 7 and again on June 8.

The spotlight will shone on the Main Event with coverage until a champion is crowned. Viewers will be able to see players’ hole cards throughout and can watch on multiple online platforms, including YouTube and Twitch channels.

About PokerStars Open Namur

The PokerStars Open takes us back to Namur, Belgium and the Circus Casino Resort Namur. Things kick off on Wednesday May 28 and run through to the final day on Sunday June 8.

There are 34 tournaments on the schedule, with a cash game area also running.

Leader board

By now you’ll likely have heard details of the PokerStars Live League. This is the leader board tracking all results during the season. Players can accumulate points across three different leader board tiers according to buy-ins. All European PokerStars Events this year will count.

The prizes on offer amount to more than €150,000 in buy-ins. But as well as that the top 30 finishers in the League will get the chance to audition to become a PokerStars Team Pro.  Someone will get to travel across the globe wearing the iconic PokerStars patch, attending the best live events, and playing for millions in prize money.

PokerStars Open Namur Player Lounge

From 12:00 until late every day at the Casino Lobby Bar. They’ll be a Happy Hour from 19:30 to 20:30 along with Spin to Win giveaways.

Champions League Fan Zone

On May 31, watch the Champions League Final alongside Tripick Night from 20:30.

Players Night

They’ll be a Qualifier meet-up on June 4 at 19:30 on the first Floor Terrace. It’ll be followed by a Barbecue Night open to all players from 20:00 with a live DJ, food and drinks.

Crazy Fries and Fricadelle Day

Come find out what a Fracadelle is and then enjoy eating them on June 5 from 13:00 at the Casino Terrace.

Waffle Day

We dare you to miss waffle day on June 6 from 13:00 at the Casino Terrace.
