Yesterday at 18:28 BST PokerStars experienced a failure at one of our primary data centres.
To ensure integrity, maintain data consistency and to be certain no transactions were lost we took the necessary time to recover systems, and we can confirm that they are all now operational again.
We can also confirm this was not a cyber-attack and that all player data was and remains completely unaffected.
We are now working with our data centre provider to understand why this incident occurred. We will then be taking the necessary steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
PokerStars has been and will continue investing significantly to further ensure our players are not impacted in the future.
