We know Billy Chattaway doesn’t deal.
He will not compromise. He wants to be the champion. He wants to end up on top.
I mean, really, he’ll just lay it out there: he is No Deal Bill.
Got it? No deals!
Won the PLO Tcoop #5 , had to let them know when it got 5 handed to stop asking to deal as I'm #NoDealBill , nice to win outright

That’s how it played out when Chattway won TCOOP Event #5 for more than $20,000 last week.
We got in touch with the 24-year-old Bromley, UK man to ask him about his win. He was amused that we’d keyed in on his #NoDealBill hashtag. It all started when he won back-to-back Sunday majors a few weeks ago for more than $100,000.
“When I got to the last few players in Sunday Second Chance, people wanted to deal,” he said. “Every time I have refused to deal and wanted to play for the outright win. I tweeted after the first and second win with the hashtag #NoDealBill and so carried this on for the PLO TCOOP, also. I found it really funny that the PokerStars Blog mentioned this as my nickname and included the dialogue in the deal discussions. My friends and I have been joking about this since.”
So, at this point, you might be tempted to think Chattaway is the kind of guy who is in it for the glory, for the championship, for the recognition of being The Man. Right?
Well, maybe not. See, Chattaway has a bit of a secret life, and it goes beyond his PokerStars screen name, b8chatz.
Before turning himself into a multi-million-dollar-winning poker player. Chattway was a pro footballer with some sick moves. How sick? Well, that’s part of the secret. I present to you exhibit #1…Mr. Chattway sporting a wig.
A wig? Why would a footballer wear a wig?
Well, if he were trying to impersonate Lionel Messi, a wig would be a good start.
This obviously requires some explanation.
“I used to be a body double for Lionel Messi in Pepsi adverts and Adidas commercials,” Chattaway explained. “I got to go to South Africa, Romania, and Barcelona. So, it was a fun time!”
With that…exhibit #2…
Back in those days, Messi had a couple of people who sat in for him during commercial shoots. Chattaway handled the football parts, though you’d never know it was him. In fact, those kids…
“The kids are famous now,” Chattaway said.
Indeed, ol’ NoDealBill is not a man who needs the credit. He’ll leave the stardom for Messi and the kids of Africa.
That said, he’ll take a TCOOP championship any day. Why?
“The prestige of a TCOOP event is pretty cool,” he said. “I’m hoping to get a bracelet to show off to my nan.”
When it comes down to it, if you can show off for your nan, who else do you need?
Congrats again Mr. Messi Chattaway. We know who you are.
