Home / US Players: Celebrate the holidays with “25 Days of Tournaments”

PokerStars are kicking off the holiday season on Monday December 5 with a packed poker advent calendar for the PokerStars community in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan.

Running until December 29, the ‘25 Days of Tournaments’ will return for a second year with daily chests unlocking challenges and a unique daily tournament revealed to players each evening.

Taking place at 7:30PM EST, each daily tournament will have a two-stake level with a $50 buy-in version and a mini $10 buy-in version.

This allows players of different levels to get involved with the holiday fun. With satellites from as low as $1, the ‘25 Days of Tournaments’ are accessible for one and all.

New for the 2022 festive season, players will also have the chance to open an advent calendar in the challenges window, where they can collect keys for the chance to unlock prizes of up to $1,000.

Let’s get to the details

While the 25 days tournament schedule itself will be revealed to players each night, we can tell you a bit about the new types of tournaments you can expect this month.

Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) Heads Up: PLO players rejoice, as for the first time they can get their hands on a heads up Zoom Total Knockout (TKO) tournament. In this format, all prize money will come from knocking people out and collecting bounties.

3-Max Zoom TKO: No Limit Hold ‘Em players will get a chance to play in our inaugural 3-Max Zoom event.

Bubble Rush & Win the Button: The former is fast until players start getting paid. The latter incentivizes winning hands as it awards the pot and an advantage next hand.

Fan Favorite Rebuy + Addon: This event was both last year’s highest attended and biggest prize pool. With last year’s Pennsylvania $50 edition boasting over $24,000+ in its prize pool, expect this event’s performance to be on Santa’s “nice” list.

Remember, event structures and details will be revealed at 9 PM EST the night before.

Happy holidays!
