The days are getting longer and the nights are getting shorter. Add that up and it means summer is on the way. For PokerStars USA players that means the Summer Festival is here.
The PokerStars Summer Festival is a two-month celebration running from June 1 until July 31. There are plenty of fun activities and promotions to get your teeth into. You’ll be able to win exclusive merch through giveaways, plus there will be Spin & Go Jackpots, Card Hunter, Freerolls, Half Price Sundays and more.
But the headline act is undoubtedly the Summer Stacks.
Kicking things off in the PokerStars Summer Festival is the Summer Stacks, which shuffles up and deals on June 9.
Between then and June 26 you can take part in 100 events, all at $100 or less. Across PA and MI-NJ there’s $2.75M guaranteed, with $1.25M in PA and $1.5M in MI-NJ. It’s a must-play series for low and mid-stakes players.
The $100 Main Events will be two-day tournaments starting on June 25th. In PA it’ll carry a $100K guarantee and in MI-NJ that’s bumped up to $125K.
For selected events, including the Main, players are able to win exclusive merchandise as a ‘trophy’. Low-stakes players will be able to qualify for far less, either via traditional satellites or $1 Spin & Go’s.
If you’re looking to get off to a fast start, on the opening Friday there are five opportunities to do just that, with the $100 NLHE Turbo PKO Fight Night, weighing in at $20K Gtd (MI-NJ) and $15K Gtd (PA).
Every Sunday during the series there’s a $100 NLHE special, while on June 11th you can get involved with the Summer Special ($70K Gtd PA, $80K Gtd MI-NJ). Then, on the 18th there’s the Deepstack Special ($65K Gtd PA and MI-NJ).
If life means that Mon-Fri is a more convenient time to hit the tables, then the good news is that on every weekday during the series, there are at least five events per day, with at least one carrying a $15,000 guarantee (PA) or $20,000 guarantee (MI-NJ).
With 100 events on the schedule, the tournament team had room to introduce some variety, which means this series is about far more than just hold’em. Fans of PLO, PLO8, HORSE, 8-Game, Badugi and Razz have plenty of reasons to get excited about the series.

It’s not just poker players who are invited to come hang out at the Summer Festival. Casino players are welcome too.
Kicking off the main stage is the exciting Bonus Bonanza with 100,000 free spins (per state, but 10K in NJ) to hand out between June 13-19.
To get involved all you have to do is opt-in, play the games you love and get rewarded with free spins. Simply wager at least $10 on Spins during the week and you’ve completed the challenge. Easy.
The number of free spins awarded to each player at the end of the week depends on how many players complete the challenge. For example, should only 10,000 players opt in and complete the challenge, then each player in MI and PA who completes the challenge will win 10 free spins.
