WCOOP BOOT CAMP RETURNS
The WCOOP Boot Camp is back from August 2-17, 2026, with more than $6.5 million guaranteed in prizes across 130 tournaments. It’s a warm-up series designed to help both casual players and grinders prepare for WCOOP 2026 and get a taste of what playing a big series is like (if you’ve never played one before).
Each of the 65 events has two buy-in levels — Low and High — with buy-ins starting from as little as $2.20.
Players not only love WCOOP due to its history and prestige, but they also love it because of the different poker games you get to play; the variety of fun tournament formats in the mix; and last but not least, the huge prizes on offer.
WCOOP Boot Camp replicates all of that, and at the low buy-in level, it does so at a fraction of the cost.

LEARN FROM BBZ POKER
As this is a training camp, PokerStars has teamed up with the esteemed coaches at BBZ Poker to provide you with free coaching sessions throughout the Boot Camp.
BBZ Poker is where the likes of Ben “Spraggy” Spragg, Lex Veldhuis, Andy “BowieEffect” Wilson and more crushers study and improve. Throughout WCOOP Boot Camp, the team — led by founder Jordan “bigbluffzinc” Drummond — will provide free training sessions to PokerStars players.
The sessions will run on the Friday “rest days” and will align with the Boot Camp’s weekend tournament schedule, so you’re well-equipped when the events kick off.
BBZ Boot Camp sessions run 1pm – 4pm CEST on the following dates:
- Friday, July 31
- Friday, August 7
- Friday, August 14
The sessions will be hosted in the BBZ Discord. Recordings will be publicly available on BBZ Poker during the Boot Camp.
Password-protected centrolls will run every Friday once all the coaching sessions have wrapped up, giving you the chance to bag some WCOOP tickets. The passwords for each tournament will be revealed during the sessions, so pay attention!
- 31st July & 7th August: $1K each in WCOOP tickets, including a $109 WCOOP ticket for 1st-3rd
- 14th August: $1.5K in WCOOP tickets, including a $530 WCOOP ticket for 1st
