The WCOOP Games Terms and Conditions (“Key Terms”)
The following Key Terms form the information for The WCOOP Games (“Competition”).
THIS COMPETITION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. The promoter of the Competition is TSG Interactive Gaming Europe Limited (“Promoter”, “we” or “us”), whose registered office is at Spinola Terraces, Mikiel Ang Borg Street, St. Julian’s, SPK 1000, Malta.
2. By entering the Competition, participants (“Entrant(s)”): a) agree to be bound by these Key Terms, the general terms and conditions for promotions (“General Promo Terms”) that apply to all promotions and competitions organised by the Promoter in connection with the PokerStars.com website (“Site”) and the tournament rules for the Site; and b) confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements for the Competition.
3. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Twitch, X, Instagram or any other social network.
4. PokerStars ambassadors are not responsible for the operation of the Competition and have no liability to any Entrant in connection with the Competition.
5. The Competition is not in conjunction with or tied to any other competition or promotions that may be running at the same time or other times.
6. Although these Key Terms apply to players on the Site, eligible players from other participating PokerStars licences will also take part in the Competition in accordance with the terms applicable to their licence.
Who is eligible?
7. Entrants must meet the eligibility requirements as specified in these Key Terms and the General Promo Terms. Failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in an entry being invalid and/or forfeiture of any prize.
8. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and have a verified and validated account on the Site. Proof of identification, age and address may be required at the request of the Promoter and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct any ID and security checks it sees fit to confirm Entrants comply with all eligibility requirements.
9. Entrants must not permit or allow another person to take part in the Competition on their behalf.
How to qualify and how the Competition works
10. The Competition will take place between August 23, 2026 and September 21, 2026 (“Promotion Period”) in two parts:
a) Part 1: The Drafts (taking place between August 23, 2026 and September 6, 2026, “Drafts Period”)
b) Part 2: The Face Offs (taking place between September 9, 2026 and September 21, 2026, “Face Offs Period”)
The Drafts
11. During the Drafts Period, PokerStars ambassadors will each build a team consisting of three (3) players from their communities. Players will be selected via Centrolls (as defined in paragraph 12). To qualify for an ambassador’s team, a player must join a Centroll of their chosen ambassador and win it. A player may only qualify for one ambassador team. Once a player has qualified, they will not be eligible to qualify again through another Centroll.
12. There will be three (3) centrolls with a $0.01 buy-in (“Centroll”) running for each ambassador (as defined in paragraph 13): on August 23, August 30 and September 6, 2026 as follows: Seb’s at 14:00 ET, Spraggy’s and Marle’s at 15:00 ET, and Del & Phil’s at 19:00 ET. Players from all participating PokerStars licences will compete together in the Centrolls.
13. PokerStars ambassadors taking part in this Competition and building their teams will be Ben Spragg (“Spraggy”), Marle Spragg (“Marle”), Sebastian Huber (“Seb”), Felipe Phil (“Phil”) and Flávio Del Valle (“Del”). Phil and Del will represent one team (“Team Del & Phil”).
14. At the end of the Drafts Period there will be a total of four (4) ambassador teams, each consisting of three (3) qualified players and one PokerStars ambassador.
The Face Offs
15. During Face Offs Period the ambassador teams will compete by playing in designated WCOOP tournaments. Qualified players will be automatically registered for the designated WCOOP tournament. A qualified player’s result will count towards the relevant Face Off even if they do not actively play in the tournament and their chip stack is blinded out. Only the results of the qualified players on each ambassador team will count towards determining the winner of a Face Off; the results of the PokerStars ambassadors will not count. Each Face Off will be won by the ambassador team whose last remaining qualified player is eliminated from the relevant WCOOP tournament(s) later than the last remaining qualified player of the opposing team (i.e. the “last player standing”). For the purposes of determining the winning team in a Face Off, a qualified player will be treated as eliminated when they are first eliminated from the relevant WCOOP tournament. If the tournament permits re-entry or rebuys, any subsequent re-entry or participation by that player will not count towards the Face Off. If the last remaining qualified players from each ambassador team are eliminated during the same hand, the winning team will be the ambassador team whose last remaining qualified player had the larger chip stack immediately before that hand began. The ambassador team that wins Face Off 3 will be the overall winner of this Competition (and each qualified player on that team will be a “Winner”).
