Theme and Design: Kong, Bananas and the Cashingo Grid

The theme of this casino game is built around a giant gorilla, Bananas, tropical scenery and piles of coins. Kong sits beside the reels and has his own Banana Throw feature, tying the character nicely to gameplay. The Cashingo Feature

Cashingo is the main feature running through this PokerStars casino game. Whenever a Yellow Cash Banana or Yellow Jackpot Banana lands, it moves across to the same place on the 5×5 Cashingo grid. For example, a Yellow Banana landing in a particular reel position moves across to that same position on the second grid. If a Cash Banana is already in that spot, the new value is added to it.

A cash prize is awarded when the Bananas complete one of three types of set: a horizontal set across the grid, a vertical set down the grid or a corner-to-corner diagonal set. Up to four completed sets can be formed on a single spin.

Completing Cashingo Sets

A Cashingo set is completed when Bananas fill all the spots across a line. When that happens, the values from the Bananas in that completed set are used for the Cashingo prize. If one Banana is part of two completed sets, its value only counts towards one of them. Only Bananas that are part of a completed set are taken away afterwards. Everything else stays on the Cashingo grid. That means parts of unfinished sets can stay in place for later spins. A Jackpot Banana that forms part of a completed set also pays the Jackpot shown on it.

CASHINGO Jackpot Bananas

There are four Jackpot Banana levels. The Mini Jackpot pays 15x the total bet, the Minor Jackpot pays 50x, the Major Jackpot pays 250x, and the Grand Jackpot pays 5,000x. Up to one of each Jackpot Banana can sit on the Cashingo grid at the same time. A Jackpot only pays when the Banana forms part of a completed Cashingo set.

Cash Prize Feature

A Cash Prize can also be awarded without using the Cashingo grid. Landing two or more Cash Bananas in a row, starting from the leftmost reel, awards a cash prize. The Cash Bananas can carry values from 0.2x up to 10x the total bet. If a Green or Yellow Jackpot Banana is one of those Bananas, the Jackpot shown on it is also paid.

Kong’s Banana Throw

Kong has his own random base-game feature. During Kong’s Banana Throw, he can throw Bananas onto the reels and place them into random positions. These can be Green Bananas, Yellow Bananas or a mixture of both. The thrown Bananas can either move across to the Cashingo grid or help form a Cash Prize, depending on their colour.

Collection Pot

Landing and collecting Bananas can also grow the Collection Pot. The collection itself happens randomly and as Bananas are collected, there’s also a chance that the Collection Pot Feature will trigger. When it does, extra Bananas are placed into random reel positions and the Collection Pot resets. What Is Hot Mode in Rumble Kong?

Hot Mode is another base-game feature built around Bananas. It can start randomly during a normal spin, or it can begin after a 24-hour countdown has finished. A randomly triggered Hot Mode lasts between 5 and 10 paid spins. When it starts from the completed countdown, it lasts for 10 paid spins. During these spins, extra Bananas are added to the reels and all other symbols are replaced with blanks.

Wheel Bonus Feature

The Wheel Bonus is triggered by collecting Bonus Tokens. At least one Token needs to be collected for each of the five rows. Three Scatters trigger 8 Free Spins. The Cashingo multiplier built through the Booster is then placed across between 2 and 20 different Cashingo positions before the first Free Spin finishes. During the feature, extra random multipliers can also land. When this happens, the multipliers can be randomly placed across between 2 and 5 positions. A new multiplier can be placed on an empty grid position or added to a multiplier already there.

500x Free Spins

The special version starts when one of the three triggering Scatter symbols is a Super Scatter. Instead of using the normal stored multiplier, the feature uses a 500x Cashingo multiplier.
