The Best Casino Restaurants in the World

October 15, 2021

Casinos are always looking for ways to stand out. One of the methods that land-based casinos employ is attracting some of the world’s greatest chefs to their establishments. Prestige and culinary talents make a good match for a buzzing gaming floor packed with hungry and thirsty players.

Join us and tuck into some of the world’s most revered restaurants – all of which you’ll find in casinos.

Robuchon au Dome at the Grand Lisboa Macau

When it comes to sheer size and decadence there is only one place on Earth that comes close to matching (or even surpassing) Las Vegas: Macau.

Casinos in this Chinese territory have been busy trying to attract some of the best chefs and food brands in the business for years, and the Grand Lisboa Casino is no exception.

The casino’s restaurant has recently (and literally) moved up in the world, boasting three Michelin stars and now being held aloft beneath a spectacular glass dome on the casino complex’s 43rd floor.

French food is the order of the day, paired with the most exclusive and wide-ranging wine list to be found anywhere in Asia.

Le Tren Bleu at the Place du Casino (Monaco)

In the grand old principality of Monaco, the most famous casino in town is the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Right on the iconic building’s doorstep stands Le Tren Blue, which (in spite of the French name and Francophilic surroundings) is a revered Italian dinery.

The man keeping this blue train on the tracks is Thierry Saez-Manzanares, who artfully blends all the best flavours that the Mediterranean region has to offer. This can mean anything from freshly caught lobster and langoustines all the way through to Italian favourites, including handmade tortellini.

Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace (Las Vegas)

Top French chefs are always in high demand in casinos, and that is most certainly the case at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas strip where Parisian legend Guy Savoy has set up shop. Fittingly, the restaurant overlooks Sin City’s very own Eiffel Tower, a view which diners can enjoy while being served food that is worthy of its two Michelin stars.

Some of the signature dishes to look out for on the menu are the Octopus Terrine and mouth-watering black truffle and artichoke soup. There is even a tasting menu for people who want to sample all of what Savoy’s kitchen can create.

Waku Ghin at the Marina Bay Sands (Singapore)

The Marina Bay Sands resort is one of the most breath-taking casino structures in the world. Despite boasting over 600 tables and more than 2,300 slot machines, Euro-Japanese fusion restaurant Waku Ghin hosts just 25 exclusive diners.

Each grouping of four seats receives their own personal chef, meaning that even the most demanding of taste buds will be fulfilled and wowed in equal measure.
