A NEW QUALIFYING PERIOD BEGINS

You’ve heard the headlines about the Spin & Go Championship Live, now it’s time to start qualifying.

You’ve heard that there will be 20 Spin & Go Live Packages awarded across three overall leader boards and three exclusive freerolls.

You’ve heard that the second of three available qualification periods will run from Monday 7 July to Monday 21 July.

And you’ll have heard that you don’t need to win to qualify. Simply play Spin & Go tournaments and earn random points on the leader boards.

FIRST QUALIFYING PERIOD

The Spin & Go Championship Live event has not only electrified the large community of Spin & Go enthusiasts, it’s also sent ripples through the broader online poker world. The buzz surrounding the qualifying stages – and the unique opportunities they present – has attracted thousands of players to fast-paced, three-handed games.

It’s not hard to understand why. The top two players from each qualifying period earn themselves a package to Barcelona, where they’ll take a seat in the exclusive 81-entry Spin & Go Championship Live event and play for a top prize of €100,000 and a championship trophy.

The first qualifying period ended on Monday, July 7, and that means it’s time for a brand new leader board and a fresh start for all of you hoping to win your way to Barcelona.

But who crushed the first leader board and secured the first seats in the event, which runs from August 30 – 31, 2025? Let’s take a look.

The Spin & Go Championship Live is going to be a multinational affair, with players coming from all corners of the globe to compete. And we can now reveal that the first two countries being represented are the poker powerhouses of Finland and Brazil.

The winner of the first leader board was Finland’s “ilejr”, who finished with an impressive 4,435 points. This really was a dominating performance, as they ended the qualifying period with 755 points more than the runner-up.

That was “serol-bb” of Brazil, but they certainly won’t be upset about not clinching the top spot.

Both players have now earned themselves packages to the Spin & Go Championship Live, and that means only 79 seats are remaining.

Below you’ll find the final standings from the first qualifying period, which ran from Monday, 23 June, until Monday, 7 July.

HOW TO QUALIFY?

The first qualifying period is about to begin with the first six of 20 Spin & Go Live packages to win.

So what do you need to do?

Simply hit the Spin & Go tables on PokerStars to earn random points on four different daily leader boards based on stakes. You don’t even need to win to earn points.

Every time you play a Spin & Go within these dates, you’ll be randomly awarded between 100 and 195 points. The lower the multiplier of the table, the better their chances of scoring more points.

Monday 23 June to Monday 7 July

Monday 7 July to Monday 21 July

Monday 21 July to Monday 4 August

You’ll earn points for each tournament played until “Game Over” is displayed. So the more you play, the higher the risk of Game Over, and you’re allowed three attempts per day.

The best attempt of each day will count towards a daily and an overall leader board.
