From helicopter rides to supercar drives; pancakes, smoothies and a spectacular player party. All the EPT Monte Carlo activities.
It’s been a fixture on the European Poker Tour (EPT) calendar since the earliest days, and this year’s trip to Monte Carlo has the potential to be the best yet. With huge numbers expected, the exclusive principality on the Mediterranean Sea will once again be the place to be for poker players this spring.
But, as usual, it’s not only about what you can expect at the tables. The EPT will once again lay on a full schedule of activities for players and their guests. There’s always something to do whether you’re playing poker or not.
Here’s what to expect this time around.
MONTE CARLO ACTIVITIES
Helicopter tour of Monaco
Daily
Some people don’t even know Monaco has roads. That’s because the only way they travel to and from the place is via helicopter — and the EPT gives you the chance to sample the high life as well.
Every day during the EPT Monte Carlo festival there are six slots available for players and guests to take to the skies and tour Monaco in a helicopter. It will be a sensational experience, and is certain to be popular. These trips are available as “high” prizes in the Spin the Wheel promotion (see below).

For some, it’s the only way to travel
Super Car Rides
Daily 12pm – 8pm
30mins slots
For anyone who loves fast and expensive cars, Monaco is dream come true. Pretty much every vehicle that passes by is a throaty, gas-guzzling monster, just itching to be driven along Monte Carlo’s legendary racetrack.
PokerStars offers the chance for EPT players and guests to slide into a car and take a 30-minute spin. Every day, a Lamborghini and a Ferrari will be parked outside waiting for you to take a ride.

The super cars will be waiting for you
City Bus Tour
Daily
If you actually want to see the sights of Monaco, rather than have them flash past your window in a blur, the best option by far is a city bus tour. PokerStars Travel can hook you up with a ticket for the hop-on, hop-off bus. It allows you the chance to explore Monaco at your leisure.
As you likely know, Monaco is not a big place. But everything is worth looking at. The bus takes you through Casino Square, past the Japanese Garden, along much of the Monte Carlo Grand Prix racetrack. It also visits the old town, where you’ll find the unique Oceanographic Museum. It’s really great for just people watching too.

Hop on, hop off and discover Monaco
Princes Palace of Monaco tickets
Daily
There are a lot of swanky places to live in Monaco, but none swankier than the official residence of the Prince of Monaco. It’s a palace. While you might not get an invitation for tea, you can at least have a snoop around the Grand Apartments.
Ask at the PokerStars Travel desk for a ticket to the Palace. Then prepare for a rare insight into how the very richest of the rich live in Monaco. The whole area up there on the hill is a fantastic part of Monaco to explore. It offers a terrific view over the whole Principality and, of course, the sea.

PLAYERS’ PARTY
Date/time: May 29th — 8pm-late
The picture-perfect April Jardin of the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel is the location for this year’s EPT Players Party. With the Mediterranean Sea lapping the cliffs below, enjoy unique entertainment from the performers of the “Planète Vapeur” Circus. Then our very own DJ Zoya takes to the decks to play you into the night.
There will be nibbles provided, as well as an open bar, with everyone welcome to join. Grab your wristbands at the entrance to the party and prepare for a brilliant night of fun.

SPIN THE WHEEL PRIZES
As always at the EPT, players can Spin the Wheel to receive a PokerStars branded prize — with some particularly special offerings here in Monte Carlo.
In addition to the helicopter rides detailed above, PokerStars has also secured tickets for the 2023 Monaco E-Prix, the Formula E race taking place on the world’s most famous race track on May 6. Watch the fastest electronic cars in the business race around this legendary road circuit, taking place the day of the EPT Main Event final table.
Tickets will be the top prize for wheel spinners in Monaco.
Other prizes include:
Helicopter and supercar rides
Free massages
PokerStars merchandise
Players can qualify for their wheel spin by completing a short feedback survey about their experience at EPT Monte Carlo. This is a super important way for event planners to understand what they are doing right and what needs improvement on the tour, and the prizes are offered by way of thanks for this most valuable feedback.
