Triple Train Express – Three Trains with Three Cash Features
Triple Train Express takes the classic vintage railway theme and gives it a much brighter, more futuristic look. Instead of steam engines and old stations, three colourful locomotives race through a neon tunnel behind the reels, with each train connected to a different Cash Feature during the main Bonus.
This PokerStars train slot uses fixed paylines and familiar casino-style symbols. Most of the extra features come into play once Bonus symbols begin landing, with Cash Boost, Cash Multi and Cash Collect all having their own jobs. There’s also the Golden Bonus, Hot Cells and the random Express Feature, which can change what happens before the reels have even stopped.

Theme and Design: Neon Trains and Classic Symbols
There are plenty of train-themed slots, but Triple Train Express moves away from the usual old-fashioned railway look. The three trains here race through a bright tunnel filled with pink and purple lighting, giving the game a more modern feel.
The locomotives sit just behind the reels and look like they are constantly travelling forwards instead of just sitting still in the background. This makes the game feel more lively even before the main features kick in. Colour also plays an important part in the design. The three main trains are red, green and blue, and those colours also play a big part in the Bonus. Red is connected to Cash Boost, green to Cash Multi and blue to Cash Collect.
The symbols on the reels are much more traditional. Playing card ranks are mixed with cherries, dollar signs, BAR symbols, bells and red sevens. This keeps the normal reels familiar while the trains and bright tunnel handle most of the theme. Most of the theme comes from the trains and neon tunnel instead of the symbols themselves, giving the casino game a more futuristic look while still keeping some classic slot visuals.
Core Gameplay: A Train Slot with Momentum
Triple Train Express is played on five reels with three rows and 20 fixed paylines. A winning combination needs matching symbols to land next to each other on a payline, starting with the left reel and continuing from left to right. If more than one win lands on the same payline, only the highest one is paid. Wins on separate paylines are added together. The paytable also changes with the bet, so the symbol payouts depend on how much is being played.
The base game stays simple. Normal spins are mainly built around the fixed paylines, the Wild and the chance of the Express Feature triggering before the reels stop. The Bonus changes the setup. Once it starts, Cash Symbols and Jackpot Symbols take over, while the three coloured Bonus symbols can activate their own Cash Features.
Slot Symbols in Triple Train Express
The lower-paying symbols include J, Q, K and A. The higher-paying symbols use more traditional slot visuals, including cherries, dollar signs, BAR symbols, bells and a red seven. The red seven is the highest of the regular paying symbols. There is also a gold Wild symbol with train tracks running across it.
The feature symbols are where the colours of the three trains become more important. Red, green and blue Bonus symbols are each linked to a separate Cash Feature. The Red Bonus activates Cash Boost. The Green Bonus activates Cash Multi. The Blue Bonus activates Cash Collect. And a separate Golden Bonus can work with all three.
The Wild Symbol
The normal Wild only lands during the base game of this train slot. It can take the place of regular paying symbols when forming a payline win, but it can’t replace a Bonus symbol. The Wild can also form its own winning combination rather than only filling gaps between other symbols.
The Triple Train Express Bonus
The Triple Train Express Bonus can start when one or more Bonus symbols land during the base game. A Bonus symbol landing doesn’t automatically mean the feature will begin. Instead, the game can randomly trigger the Bonus with one, two or three of the Cash Features.
The Golden Bonus can also open the feature and bring all three colours into play. If only one Bonus symbol lands, there is also a chance that it changes into the Golden Bonus. When the feature begins, the Bonus symbols that triggered it are locked onto the grid. The slot then adds three random Cash and/or Jackpot symbols into other spaces. The Bonus begins with 3 spins and each time a new symbol lands, the number of spins resets to 3. This can keep the feature going for longer as more symbols turn up.

The Three Cash Features
Cash Symbols can land throughout the Bonus and carry one of five values: 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x or 5x the bet. Once one lands, it stays on the grid. The red, green and blue trains are each connected to a different Cash Feature during the Bonus. These features can also activate again later in the same Bonus.
Cash Boost
The Red Bonus symbol activates Cash Boost. The Red Bonus begins with a random value of 2x, 3x or 5x and can increase through several steps, eventually reaching as high as 300x the bet. It can’t go above the value of the Major Jackpot. If Cash Boost triggers again, the Red Bonus continues from the value it has already reached instead of starting again.
Cash Multi
The Green Bonus symbol activates Cash Multi. When it starts, the game chooses between one and three other prizes already on the screen and multiplies them by 2x, 3x or 5x. Afterwards, the Green Bonus changes into a random Cash Symbol worth between 0.2x and 5x the bet. If Cash Multi activates again, another one to three prizes are chosen and given a random multiplier.
Cash Collect
The Blue Bonus symbol triggers Cash Collect. The feature gathers the current coin wins from the grid and then adds them to the collector. After, the Blue Bonus changes into a random Cash Symbol worth between 0.2x and 5x the bet. If Cash Collect activates again later on, it gathers the coin values showing at that point and adds them to its total.
The Golden Bonus
The Golden Bonus can bring the three Cash Features together and can trigger in both the base game and the Bonus. If the Golden Bonus triggers from the base game, Cash Boost, Cash Multi and Cash Collect are played one after another.
This order can matter because Cash Boost can increase a Red Bonus before Cash Multi chooses prizes, while Cash Collect then gathers the current coin values afterwards. The Golden Bonus works differently if it lands after the main Bonus has already started. During the Bonus, it can reactivate up to three Bonus symbols of each colour that are already on the grid. Once the Golden Bonus has finished, it changes into a random Cash Symbol worth between 0.2x and 5x the bet.
Reactivating the Cash Features
Cash Boost, Cash Multi and Cash Collect can all return after their first trigger. A Red Bonus can continue increasing from the value it has already reached. Cash Multi can choose another set of prizes and add another 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier. Cash Collect can gather the current coin values again, while the Golden Bonus can also reactivate several of the coloured Bonus symbols during the same feature.
Jackpot Symbols in the Bonus
The Bonus also includes Jackpot Symbols. There are three Jackpot values that can land on the grid: Mini worth 10x the bet, Minor worth 30x the bet, and Major worth 300x the bet. These symbols can show up alongside normal Cash Symbols while the Bonus is running. The fourth Jackpot works differently.
Grand Jackpot
The Grand Jackpot is worth 5,000x the bet. Unlike the Mini, Minor and Major, the Grand is not another Jackpot Symbol waiting to land. Instead, the entire Bonus grid needs to be filled with symbols. Every time a new symbol lands, the remaining spins reset to 3. This keeps the Bonus running while more positions are filled. If every position on the grid is filled, the 5,000x Grand Jackpot is awarded and the feature finishes.
What Are Hot Cells?
Hot Cells can show up during the Bonus. A Hot Cell shows on part of the reel area and increases the chance of a Bonus or Jackpot Symbol landing on that reel. It doesn’t guarantee that one will appear, however, and the increased chance only lasts while the Hot Cell is active. Hot Cells don’t appear during normal base game spins and only have a role after the Bonus has started.
The Express Feature
The Express Feature is an extra feature that can trigger during the base game. Unlike the main Bonus, it doesn’t need a specific group of symbols to start. It can trigger randomly before any of the reels stop. The Express Feature can open the Bonus with one or two random Bonus symbols. It can also trigger the Bonus with a Golden Bonus symbol, bringing Red, Green and Blue into play. The feature can also award a “Big Win” or increase what the base game spin pays. Because it starts before the reels have stopped, the Express Feature can turn a normal base game spin into something more exciting.
Final Thoughts: All Aboard the Triple Train Express
Triple Train Express, played on PokerStars, is a colourful train slot that keeps its normal reels pretty traditional before bringing most of its bigger features into the Bonus. The red, green and blue trains aren’t just part of the background either, with each colour tied directly to Cash Boost, Cash Multi or Cash Collect.
The Golden Bonus can bring those features together, while Hot Cells, Jackpot Symbols and the 5,000x Grand add more to the main feature. The Express Feature also gives the base game something extra before the larger Bonus features start.
