The casino industry is always being tracked by people looking to invest. After all, the explosive growth that Las Vegas experienced in the 70s and 80s was largely due to the influx of wealthy businessmen in the area, looking to develop and own more casino floor space.

Nowadays, the Entertainment Capital of the World and many other cities are full of these glamorous facilities that welcome both locals and tourists in gorgeous settings.

Stanley Ho was one of, if not the most, famous casino owner in the nation of Macau. Here, he was the industry’s main leader for over 75 years, racking up a massive estimated multi-billion net worth, making him one of the richest people in the world. His investments were diverse, spanning real estate, banking, and airlines in addition to the casino business.

Known as the unofficial “King of Las Vegas,” Steve Wynn is another rich casino business owner who is most famous for his involvement in some of Sin City’s iconic constructions, such as the Bellagio and the Mirage. Wynn Resorts, which he founded in 2002, is worth more than a billion dollars and continues to be a Nevada-based developer and operator of luxury casinos.

With a total estimated fortune of 33.5 billion dollars in September 2020, the late Sheldon Gary Adelson was the 28th richest man in the world right up to his passing in mid-January of this year. Adelson was the proud owner and founder of Las Vegas Sands, a multi-billion-dollar company that boasts resorts and casinos in both the U.S. and Asia. Some of these famous properties include Vegas’ The Venetian as well as The Venetian Macao in China, the 2nd largest casino on the planet.
