ECLAIR ENCORE (1) drove hard late but missed in a photo over 1900m at Rosehill in Saturday grade last start. Tough filly who has endured plenty of racing and thrives. Nicely placed after the claim back in midweek company and she looks the one to beat. LENNOX (2) made it two from two this time in work when he pulled away late to collect a BM64 over 1800m at the Kensington track last time out. Drawn to enjoy the run of the race and there is still improvement to come at just the third appearance of this campaign. EL PASO (11) battled on okay and finished two lengths behind Eclair Encore when they clashed at Rosehill recently. Meets her 1.5kgs worse so the figures are not favourable, but a top-three finish is achievable in this grade. EXISTENTIAL BOB (8) was edged out of second by Eclair Encore last start, his best run by far this prep. Form when last in work is easily good enough to take this out. HAPPINESS (3) is progressing in fine style and is a chance again on a seven-day back-up.
