MA TE WA (6) was sent out as a hot favourite in the G3 Phar Lap Trophy at Trentham 3 weeks ago and failed to finish his race off as well as expected. He was only second up and could have needed it, or the mile came too soon for him. He drops back a furlong and can make amends at this easier level. Follow your money. SINDEE (5) is a very progressive local mare who has finished in the top 3 in all of her starts back from a spell, and each time she has been the favourite. The blinkers are off, and she drops in weight, so stick with her. Overdue. LOCH IN ORA (3) strips fitter second up, and she can't be taken lightly. Include in all combos. OUR JUMALA (1) and CHARMER (8) make up a 5-horse field and can fight out fourth place.
