HERMIONE PRANCER (8) has been handy to the turn then just failed to finish her two races off this prep, both at Warwick Farm. Cherry ripe now and faces a much easier assignment. Perfectly placed to break the ice. PAZYRYK (10) impressed when fresh from an 11-month break last time out at Gosford, making a belated charge only to be beaten 0.7 lengths over 1100m. An extra furlong down this longer straight is an ideal second-up scenario. FUNSHOW (1) has started favourite but found one better at both starts to date, the latest over 1200m at Gosford. Finding the line well so the step up in journey looks the right move. MAJESTIC LEGEND (13) was seven weeks between runs before his fast finish over 1000m at Kembla recently. One to watch for late in the piece.
