Will race closer today from the good gate and prove hard to hold out. LOVING (4) progressing well through his grades this time in and gives every indication of running a strong 1400m. Set a fast tempo early and did well to grip on late when fourth to Sequista over 1300m at Wyong. Has a few options from the draw with race fitness on his side. Each way. PRETTY POWERFUL (1) has returned a more genuine commodity this prep and back in class with Grima's claim. Third-up now and look for him charging late. CINSAULT (5) tough first-up winner at Canterbury, then jumped in class and trip with a respectable fourth over 1400m at this track. Can get cover from the gate and has further improvement to come. PIPERITA (12) deep into the prep and not too far away at her last couple of runs. Value player.
