SWEET SURRENDER (5) will be peaking third up, and she improved last start, finishing just a head behind the winner over 1800m at Ascot 10 days ago. This looks like a softer assignment, and she’s capable of going one better. TRULY GALLANT (3) was a dominant winner by more than 3 lengths over 1623m here last time out 12 days ago. He is in great form this prep with two wins from five runs and should be hard to hold out. MASTER ALEX (2) may not win often, but he has been consistent and is knocking on the door, last time finishing a solid third over 1619m at this track. Each way claims again. GET OUT MICK (4) missed the placings in his last two runs, most recently finishing fourth over 1417m here 12 days ago. He has a superior gate this time, and is well worth including in all top 4 combos. MOMBASA (1) is much better than his form suggests, and he hasn’t hit his straps this campaign. He might need some luck from a wide gate, but if the tempo is genuine, then he is not out of this at odds.
