SOUTHERLY BUSTER (9) hasn’t threatened in two runs back in provincial grade but should find this much easier. Draws well and both career wins have come at this trip, so a much better showing is anticipated. SHADOW DANE (4) bounced straight back to form last start with a barnstorming Wellington win over 1400m. Returns to the mile and keeps the 3kg claimer to offset the big weight. Can win again. INVINCIBLE RED (5) is yet to break through this campaign but has been close up in stronger races. Easier assignment here and his best figures measure right up. ACCRUE (2) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and stuck on gamely for third at Wellington. Rock-hard fit and sure to give another bold sight in front. TYCOON CHARGER (7) was plain last time but solid fresh. Third-up now and capable of bouncing back to play a role.
