ROMMEL'S GODDESS (3) has joined the Barton stable since her last run in August and lines up here without a trial. She boasts a good fresh record and wasn't far away in a CL3 at Northam when first-up last campaign. Drawn ideally and can make an immediate impact. DISCO KICKS (5) led and faded at Bunbury last start but her form at this level prior was very good for a race like this. Riordan's 2kg claim is a bonus and she'll be hard to gun down if she rolls to the front. NORMA STARS (2) missed two back at York narrowly before stepping out in trip last time out and disappointing, though she did pull up with an issue.
