BRIDAL TRAIN (9) made it 2 wins from 3 starts this prep when scoring by 3 lengths at Otaki just over 4 weeks ago. She has won twice here on her home track, and with a kilo less to carry this time, she should be the main danger to the top pick, if there is to be one. THE ODYSSEY (4) has been racing well over 2400m in his last couple of starts, and should he strike a heavy track here, he could just be too tough. Each way value. HERBERT (2) likes it here and loves a wet track. He steps up to a middle distance for the first time this prep and is good enough to take this out. ENRICO (5) made up plenty of late ground at Trentham 3 weeks ago in stakes company over a mile, and the extra furlong is ideal. Stick with him on an each-way basis. DOODLE (10) is back in form and worth including in all top 4 combos.
