SINISTER (10) led and gave a kick but was nailed close to home on debut over 1400m at Orange recently. Plenty of scope for improvement so expect him to cope with this better opposition. PEPE (8) missed the kick then found the line okay when resuming over 1400m at Warwick Farm last start. In the mix if he can build on that effort. ARTIE STEAMER (1) has been beaten less than two lengths at both appearances to date. Should be thereabouts again. ADAPTATION (3) never looked likely on debut at Kembla Grange when always well back but is sure to have come on from that. Draws well again and is expected to appreciate the added trip. Don't dismiss.
