Tricky finish. AREAAN (11) broke through for a smart maiden win when last seen at Mornington, appreciating the rise to this trip when sprinting well from just off the speed to score by 1.3 lengths. She gets in with 54kg after the handy claim from Jackson Radley and can measure up to this winnable BM62. STORM AHEAD (2) can mix his form, bouncing back to his best with a comfortable victory at Cranbourne last start in a 0-62. He should get every chance up on speed from the draw and can make it back to back wins. SUMO SANDY (5) was far too good in a much easier race at Kerang last time, winning by nearly 6 lengths. Beat nothing there but he'd promised a bit last time in and can measure up. TRIPLE TIME (6) is going okay and maps for a soft run trailing the speed here. Each way. LADY ELSA (7) struggled fresh but could be an improver.
