Very intriguing maiden with a host of possibilities. MICHELANGELO (3) is a five start maiden yet to place but was tested to the top level finishing eight in the Gr1 Cham[pages Stakes before a break. Long spell and gelded since. Some oh his worst ratings are better than these so could well get off the mark here fresh if on song. DAPHNES (2) was a close-up sixth fresh at Canterbury and will relish the extra ground. Fitter and expected to improve sharply. YATTAZOU (4) has placed one of five but has been going around in far richer maidens. Back in trip and will be tough to stop. MOANA GOLD (6) found the line strongly fresh for the new yard and will be fitter for it. Local who will be winding up late. SAVEUR (8) sat wide throughout with no cover fresh and the run far better than it looked. Drawn for a perfect trail this time and no surprise to see sharp improvement.

Second run back. First-up after nine months second last of 7 at Canterbury 3yo Mdn on November 14 over 1250m, 1.75 len behind Namaste with 56.5kg at $2.30. Previously second-up 5th of 9 at Rosehill in the G3 Widden on February 1 over 1100m, 7 len behind The Playwright with 54.5kg at $7.50. Extra trip a big plus and with the fresh-up run under the belt can improve sharply.

First starter by Snitzel out of Dashoff purchased for AUD $ 525,000 (Inglis 2023 Australian Easter Yearling Sale). From a good family including Group 1 winner Spright. Well educated as you'd expect with a host of trials and gelded prior to the last one. Has a total of five trials prior to his debut today. Watch the market for any push.

Most recently second last of 7 at Canterbury 3&4yo Mdn-Sw on November 14 over 1550m, 4 len behind John Dory with 55.5kg at $7.50. The race before that held ground to the line 3rd of 12 at Rosehill Super 3yo+ MDN-Sw on October 29 over 1400m, on a slow track; 2.75 len behind Long Legs carrying 54.5kg at $11. Thereabouts in richer maidens and certainly worth another chance.
