Did you know you can play on PokerStars without downloading the client? Find out how you could play web poker in your internet browser here.

We get it. Sometimes the mood just strikes, and all you want to do is sit down for a game of online poker without having to wait for install wizards to work their magic, or having to clear space on your device so you can squeeze in another app.

That’s where browser-based web poker comes in. 

Did you know you can play on PokerStars in your desktop browser with no need to download anything? You simply open your browser, log in to your PokerStars account, and voila. You’re in.

There are multiple reasons why web poker is great for players, but it’s not without its limitations. Here we’ll break down both.

LIMITATIONS OF WEB POKER 

The biggest drawback is that players can only play one table at a time. One browser tab equals one table.

This means there’s no multitabling when you play in a browser, so it’s not ideal for the grinders. However, if you just want to play a quick game or put your focus on one table, it’s ideal.
