EL FOXIE (3) was on the quick turnaround last start and was too good, winning by 0.8L after sitting on the speed. The form out of that race has been solid since and he's expected to be better again now third-up. Ticks a few boxes and there's no reason why he can't go on with the job. NICCONAMI (9) is another who sat handy last start and was too good, breaking her maiden over the short course here. Back up in trip today is some query, but she should be at her peak fitness now. Has upside and can repeat the dose. MAGICASH (1) just missed as favourite in a CL2 here a fortnight ago and gets Faithfull in the saddle today replacing the apprentice. May get back in the run, but she'll be finishing off strongly and her recent effort stacks right up. FOUR SEAS (8) lands here first-up but did turn in a handy trial here recently. Not out of this. CRUISE TO RIO (2) can improve on the fresh effort after a long layoff.
