WESTERN ACE (7) was very impressive on debut when finishing off strongly from back in the pack at Pinjarra. The step up to 1400m today looks ideal and the booking of Pike is a good push for his chances. Likely to get back once again but with improvement likely, he may just be too classy. RADIANT LIGHT (6) is still a maiden after 7 starts but has bumped into some smart ones in the process. He went back last start as favourite at Pinjarra and flew late, beaten 0.4L. Has shown adaptability in his two starts thus far and strikes another winnable assignment today. YOU CAN CALL ME AL (2) disappointed at Belmont last time out when second-up off a short break, though the form out of that has been superb. Third-up now, he can peak and put his best foot forward. ZALI'S GIFT (10) just missed last start but showed she's knocking on the door. Rise in trip is a big tick. SPANISH ARMADA (8) was solid in his trials coming in and has claims on debut.
