CASHEL PALACE (4) made up a lot of late ground when finishing third over 1400m here last start, nearly 4 weeks ago. He stays at the same trip, but drops sharply in grade, and is the one to beat. SIX SHOOTER (1) will be peaking third up, after improving in each of his 2 starts this prep, the latest a sixth over 1200m here 19 days ago. He will find this company more to his liking and is ready to put his best hoof forward in this. LOMBADINA (5) kept up her good form with a close second last time over 1400m, and she will also be sliding down in grade here. She has a slightly better draw and is overdue for another win. DUG ANOTHER HOLE (2) was right in it turning for home and stuck on gamely for second over 1500m here, just over a length from the winner. He has never missed the placings in 3 runs at this course and distance, and he can go one better this time. AWESOME BOY (3) is knocking on the door, and he should be at peak fitness fourth up from a spell. Stick with him.
