TOUCHDOWN (5) is fresh for this having missed a run at 2000m due to the recent fires at Lindsay Park. He's a progressive horse who has won his past three, dominant in good time at Caulfield Heath last time out over 1800m. Back to a mile here off the gap is a little niggle but he might just be too good again. YES I KNOW (12) has been racing well without winning this time in, just run down late as favourite at Flemington last week. He drops 4kg into this on the quick backup and that could be the factor. SUNSETS (4) may want further now but ran well first-up. Kept fresh for this and gets an important claim. No shock to see him find the frame. NARBOLD (6) never once looked likely when resuming at the latest. Put a pen through, he's much better than that run suggests. Sharp improvement anticipated.
