EMPUSA (6) led for the judge but lacked the turn of foot required when unplaced over 1350m at the Beaumont circuit last start. Looking for the mile now and shouldn't spend too much in the run from a perfect draw. Ready to win again. HIGH VOLTAGE (8) loomed up on the turn then showed fight to get the upper hand on debut over 1450m at Kempsey last time out. Maps nicely just behind the speed again. Capable of progressing to this level. CALEDONIAN (1) extended a run of outs when a modest fifth over 1450m at Kempsey recently. Only goes up 0.5kgs after Farr's claim and this is an easier race so there is a glimmer of hope for connections. THE AMBASSADOR (7) dropped back sharply in trip last start so the failure was no surprise. Placed over this distance at Inverell the run prior - watch for a return to form. AUSBRED YAHOO (5) is up in class but can sneak into the money.
