FELASUVI (7) stalked the speed then showed a nice turn of foot to easily take out a Class 1 over 1250m at Kempsey last start. Up in grade but gets in with the same weight and there is plenty of room for improvement at just the third outing of the campaign. CUTTING EDGE (3) led for the judge but didn't quite run a strong 1450m at Kempsey last time out when third in a Class 2. Won over 1250m three back which is more in his distance range. Sure to be prominent for a long way. PHOENIX POWER (2) was ridden cold then quickened impressively to get up for second, passing Cutting Edge in the run home, over 1450m at Kempsey recently. Is a winner here at this trip. Sure to measure up again. PIEDI VELOCI (5) got up for third in an eye-catching effort first-up here over a shorter trip. Lightly raced four-year-old with bright prospects, enhanced by the inside draw. SUNNY'S GIRL (11) saves her best for Coffs and makes plenty of appeal down in the weights.
