HOT TODDY (8) went close at Wagga before the spell and looked a run short there first-up. Keeps Kissick and he's got more to give. Has an awkward barrier but he's likely to go on with it this preparation. HELLS SPIRIT (7) hasn't threatened this preparation but led and improved at Albury two back before being cruelled by a wide gate there last time. He should enjoy a softer run today, and the 1.5kg claim helps. MO SPIRIT (1) didn't do a lot at Albury first-up, but he's run some tidy races. Has the rails draw today and the longer sprint suits. NOIR VITESSE (2) has had market support but hasn't fired since the switch from a Hawkesbury yard. Has been freshened and the tongue tie goes on again. Would be very hard to beat if he found his best.
