STRAYA PRIDE (2) looks ready to win again after two straight placings this season, the latest a third over 1100m here when on the pace throughout. The extra 100m is the key, so stick with him. ROSSANADO (5) ended her last prep with a seventh over 1200m here on August 4. She comes to hand quickly and will be a lot stronger now. She is only lightly tried and has more to offer. MIAMI BABY (1) made late ground to finish third over 1200m here when resuming from a spell. He made good progress when relocating from Sydney last season, and with more time to settle in, he should continue to get better. Each way.
