The progressive SANNIYA (5) held on well to place over 1200m at Launceston first-up after leading them up. She was heavily bet and has since won a trial here by a big space. She led and won easily in Stakes company before the break and with the extra fitness should have them covered. SEYDOUX (4) resumes and flies this track and trip. She's been trialling well and draws inside with 2x winning rider Byrne Burke aboard. No surprise to see her in the finish. QUICKEN UP (3) bounced straight back into the winners' stall, winning a 64 at Launceston. The shorter sprint shouldn't bother and the inside gate and 3kg claim both advantage. JAGUAR STONE (1) raced favourite on the turf first-up and didn't have the best of it. May need longer now, but she's in well with the 3kg claim and should be around the mark.
