MISS BARILOCHE (7) had a change of stables and a seven-week let-up before failing to run on last start over 1300m at Bathurst. Up a little in grade but drops a huge 5kgs after Hunt's claim. Best form comes at this trip so a spike in form looks on the cards. DRUNKEN SAILOR (5) comes back in trip after three plain efforts at a mile of further. Last raced over this distance in a BM64 at Kembla on 15 November and did a good job. Watch for a return to form in this far more suitable contest. BURROWA (1) has raced close to the speed then proved too strong in his last two outings, the latest over 1200m at Nowra. Will handle the step up in trip and looks well in after the allowance. STARLINK (6) went back and was never a factor over a shorter journey at Orange last Tuesday. Can improve on the quick back up over a bit more territory. AWESOME TYCOON (2) has four wins and four placings from nine runs at this trip. Hasn't raced for five weeks but is hard to rule out.
