Steps up in grade but he maps perfectly off a hot tempo and can finish right over the top again. NOR NOR WEST (11) has been freshened up since returning to the winner's list with a narrow victory over 1200m here five weeks ago. Can run another big race. CANAMBLE (8) was friendless in betting but pulled off a surprise win over this trip at Scone a month ago. Goes well when kept fresh so she is right in the picture again. CUMBOOGLE (1) led but couldn't keep going when fresh from a spell over this distance at Orange last time out. Has a far better second-up record so expect him to offer more resistance here. WASTED DAYS (6) is back from a six-month spell. Has only missed the frame once in five runs at Dubbo. Capable of a strong return with the help of the inside draw.
